Magic, Co-creation and Responsibility

A magician, wizard, or co-creator is someone who masters the art of manipulating the energies and realities of the universe for a specific purpose . This is an objective and neutral function in itself. Anyone can do anything. "Do what thou wilt, for it shall be the whole of the Law." However, "do what thou wilt" comes with responsibility for one's actions and their consequences.

Understanding the level of affect that magic or co-creation can have on life as a whole, it is important that magical or co-creation work be guided by ethics .

The maxim of applied ethics is Universal Love . It is a principle that summarizes all other guidelines and actions, because with Love as a guide, there is no possibility of harming any other Being.

The Power of the Word and Universal Energies

When the magician or co-creator performs some work or action, he can act in two ways: commanding divine energies for the benefit of his purpose or collaborating with other beings, human or not.

By acting on the essential energies of the Universe, it commands and orders them according to its purposes and intentions. It is about acting as a divine authority over "creation." It is no coincidence that we are beings made "in the image and likeness of God." Thus, we have the authority and power to command and order all the fundamental energies of the Universe, which govern the foundations of Life. These energies are, for example, the elements (water, earth, air, fire, and ether, among others), feelings, and the Word—energies essential to the maintenance of Living Reality.

The Word , yes, is the essential foundation of Magic or Co-creation. It is the "spirit" or, more precisely, the energy that mediates all the actions of the magician or co-creator. Therefore: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The Word is the principle of all that is Magic or Co-creation of reality.

It is from this that God acts and creates: "And God said, 'Let there be Light,' and there was Light." The Word here is "To make," and the Element ordained for creation was "Light." This is how God acts, in his authority, over Life. Since we are made in his likeness, this is how we act to co-create reality.

Collaboration with Other Beings

The other way in which the magician or co-creator acts is in collaboration or cooperation, or even in dialogue, with other Divine or Independent Beings, also co-creators and, therefore, intelligent.

In other words, they are intelligent entities—other spirits, human or otherwise—who were also created "in the image and likeness of God." When we call upon an intelligent entity (an Angel, a Guide, a Venerable Ancestor, among others), it is always with respect for their independence and in dialogue, never demanding or ordering anything from that Being.

Guided by ethics, a magician or co-creator never attacks a fellow being or acts upon them or their paths without their authorization or collaboration. Permission is always sought from the person for whom one intends to act. In particular, the request should be directed to the Higher Self of that person or being, as well as to the egregores of which they are a part—and always with the mediation of the Ethics of Universal Love, the Higher Law, and Divine Justice.

The Path of Self-Development

First and foremost, it is important to exercise divine authority over one 's own consciousness , which is what we are truly responsible for. Therefore, before any other magical or co-creative movement, the magician or co-creator must practice their own conscious, moral, ethical, spiritual, and magical development.

By increasing your power and developing your spiritual ethics, your abilities to co-create your own reality will expand, allowing access that you could not access before, because your mind was still limited.

With the caveat that, with the advancement of your own power, you will also have greater responsibilities , you must not ignore the need for alignment with the Greater Laws, Divine Justice and the Sacred and Universal Love of God .

Power without love is perdition . It is corruption of the Soul. Therefore, developing one's own ethical attitude is the first and most important of spiritual foundations.

Only Love overcomes the limitations of the ego.
