Death is a sacred process that must be experienced with respect, attention, and care. Daily life calls for a different rhythm during this time of care, and it is okay for priorities to shift a little as life transforms, reorders, and reorganizes itself. Death is not a phenomenon to be idealized in any way; it follows a natural course that lies beyond any greater control over it. Sometimes it can be postponed, but never avoided. And facing its inevitability with respect, attention, and care is an act of love.

So, the priority in these moments is to love, as it has never been possible or necessary before in the relationship. And to love this deeply, we sometimes need to let go of some control, some desires, or some expectations, because the process of dying, just like that of being reborn, needs its own space and time to happen. So, free yourself from the invisible bonds of the demands that your own ego defines as important or even as priorities.

What, in fact, is a priority at this moment? Money, routine, health, or relationships? The context of the process of death and dying needs to be embraced as part of the natural process of life. There is no point in forcing something that does not fit in this moment. And I am not saying that all these things are not important, but that life needs to respect a different rhythm during this process — and everything will be okay.

With time and inevitable transformations, life will follow its course and continue transforming whenever change is needed. Nothing remains static; everything transforms and moves. Accepting and understanding, as well as respecting, these flows, needs, and moments is part of following the flow of the experience of living in this embodied world.

Rigid control generates suffering. Learning to be flexible, like water, helps you flow through life and reach where you want and where you need to go. Making the most of this precious moment also teaches you to experience the process of dying with more respect and wisdom. So, do not ignore the importance of death, but learn from it how to close cycles so that another can be born.

Even so, take your time, respect your process, and take care of yourself with compassion, honoring your limits and needs while doing the best you can within your possibilities.
